Hello, my name is Jim Litwin. I would like to welcome you to the Racine Radio Control Club. As with many of you, my interest in flying model aircraft started as a youngster flying small line control planes. After a tour in the Army, I dabbled in larger line control planes, but then other things came along, and I dropped out of the hobby. After marriage, and having a family, my son wanted to fly models, so we started with line control, but quickly entered into the RC aspect of the hobby.

I have been a member of the club for the past 24 years and have thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the RC hobby. At the present time, my interests are in giant scale planes, and the flying of them in as realistic a manner as possible. I am retired from the Racine County Sheriff's Department, and the flying of RC airplanes offered a great diversion from the stresses of the job.

We have a great club with a talented membership, and the club has developed a strong relationship with the Village of Mt. Pleasant in our flying field development. All of this makes for a very positive situation. I encourage anyone interested in Radio Control airplanes, to come look at what we have to offer.
